Literally haven't used this in a million years

I realise that it has been over half a year since I last posted on my little blog which is actually quite sad. So I'm trying to think of all the events that have occurred since my last post in MAY. Once again, I'm listing for my future benefit:
  • June 22nd May - 6th - Tanzania Africa. Hospital work experience, safari
  • July 6th - 17th birthday - I spent the first few hours of my birthday in Dubai, the next few in the sky and the remaining hours back in sunny England
  • August - a week in Monmouth with Natty and friends followed by Nozstock - This was a meetup with my Africa friends
  • 6th august- 12th August - My wonderful German friends Lisa and Silja came and stayed for a week! We went to London, Carding Mill Valley, Shrewsbury and Birmingham.
  • Late August - My results were better than I expected and I so I was really confused on results day. I got AAAAB  (biology, chemistry, psychology, english lang/lit, music respectively)
  • 20-25th August-  Reading festival - the music was so so good at reading! I didn't like the size of reading though. Way too big. I also can't camp to save my life.
  • September - again a meet up with Africa friends, multiple visits to London
  • Katie moved to London. Didn't like her course and then moved to Liverpool. Good move. Liverpool is awesome.
  • October - Unconditional offer for Biomed at Uni of Birmingham. Bit unexpected really considering my application was dentistry application and not a biomed one. oh well. happy days.

Slam Dunk Festival!

I am so glad that I went to Slam Dunk yesterday! Ah man it was so good!

Firstly Katie and I went to see Zebrahead which was hilarious. The atmosphere was really good + there was lots of moshing considering it was something past 6! A group a lads thought it'd be amusing to unexpectedly scoop me up and pass me over the crowd - so yeah, I crowd surfed! Which was an experience in its self! I got passed all the way to the front and was lifted down. I ran back round again to 'thank' the guys for lifting me without telling me...and so they thought it'd be more amusing to lift me again! So I crowd surfed twice. Good times.

Then we went to see abit of We are the in Crowd! Followed by Mallory knox, which was also awesome. I definitely need to see them again.

All american rejects came on just after 9.30 and I was at the very very front! Ahhhh I was so happy!

It was such a good evening people

:D

I fail at life

I genuinely fail at life right now. My exams really aren't going well. Teachers have little confidence that I'll get my target grades, so how am I meant to have any confidence in myself???

I will have definitely won the award for ' Greatest Underachiever of the century' this academic year.

Do you know what's the most annoying thing? I have done so much revision. I have banned myself from TV and films (which is very hard indeed) and I'm revising from the morning to the late hours of the night (or early hours of the morning :S).

There's so much pressure for me to get AAAAAAAAAA and it's stressing me out a lot.

For example, in my music recording I was so concerned about not going wrong that I ended up purposely playing part of it wrong and I can't even explain why my brain did that. Maybe it's like when people say that when you are at reallllllly high heights, you have the urge to jump off...?

I got into my sisters car today after school and just cried all the way home...and continued to cry at home too for that matter...So then I had comfort food -  meringue with whipped cream and raspberries (which was actually the highlight of my day)

It would also help if my sleeping pattern decided to make a miraculous recovery. Beginning to think i'm an unconscious psychopath.

Why can't I be super intelligent? Is that too much to ask?

No? Okay

Thought so

Music exam on monday.....

I will be immensely happy if they ask for the harmony of Brahms' Piano Quintet on the 18 mark essay question..

Oh and also if they decide not to use Symphony of Psalms or Sing we at pleasure in the listening question

i;d also quite like a

3-3-2 cadence  (I - Ib - V)

because those are nice and easy :)

pleaseeeee?

Did they ask me any of the things I wanted?  nope
