I've made this because I'm dreadful at keeping a hand-written diary and so I was hoping to record some of my life events here where everyone can read, if they like. This blog will basically consist of significant events and act as a place where I can express my random thoughts! Briefing: I'm 16 years old and from the UK. I hope to venture into a science-y field, but for the time being I'm a musician and spend a large proportion of my time playing the piano...

(500) Days of Summer
This film has such a cute soundtrack...with Regina Spektor's 'Us' and The Smiths 'There is a light that never goes out'
I had all my students' exams on Thursday! My first lot of students exams are finished for a while. After the exams, Kate and I went back to her house and we watched Perks of being a wallflower in onesies :) Then started to watch (500) days of summer - and we loved the soundtrack. I really like the film too. I'm surprised that I wasn't irritated by the whole non-chronological-ness of it.
Now we have to sit back and wait for the results.
:)
It's just cute
aw

How exciting!
But I have busy list of difficult and time consuming things to do before I go:
- major revision for AS levels
- Get to A grade standard in all my subjects (note: trickiest part of my list)
- Take all my AS level exams
- get a million and one jabs, malaria tablets, flights, insurance, visa, scrubs, suitable clothing etc.
- Music composition and performance deadline
- go to 3 concerts - Halestorm, Deaf Havana and Panic! at the disco
- Band trip to Belgium at the end of April for 5 days ish
- Revise for UKCAT because I'm not going to have time after
On top of this i'm still working twice a week (taking up practically my entire Saturdays) and I'm doing work experience every week at the hospital on Fridays.
help me
DESPITE ALL THIS .. UBER EXCITED

A chance of a once in a lifetime opportunity ...?
I have been given the chance of a once in a life time experience to travel to a third world country for a number of weeks, shadowing medics in hospitals and enjoying the culture.
It'll be breath-taking, eye opening, beautiful and unfamiliar... but also a bit risky.
The thought of it makes me excited and nervous at the same time.
Should I take the opportunity?

No make up selfie nomination :)
I was nominated for a Cancer awareness selfie thingymabob. To be honest, I'm not usually a fan of nominations and stuff. Especially if they want me to take of my dark eye-liner (aka comfort zone). However, i'll make an exception for this one. I have volunteered in increasing awareness of the Mouth cancer screening accreditation scheme amongst Dentists and feel that is far more useful than taking a hideous picture of myself without make up on - but i do agree that this is raising awareness!:) why not

Let the concerting begin!
Okay so we're going to:
1. Halestorm
2. Deaf Havana (not to be confused with 'Death of Anna' aha)
3. Panic! At the disco
4. Reading
Something to make me a bit more upbeat around exam times - can't do too much collateral damage
Oh well

Latest addiction maybe?
I'm slightly addicted to supernatural at the moment..I started season 1 after Christmas and I'm currently midway through season 5 . I have reached mine and my sister's favourite scene on the last episode of the third disc - made me laugh for 5 minutes straight :S (again writing for my future benefit here).
This is the perfect episode to watch if I'm in a bad mood :P
hahahahaha
